Olympos Town’s Magnificent Everyday
Season 1, Chapter 3 – Artemis
Theseus:
Huh, Artemis? Weird seeing you here.
Wasn’t your home in the opposite direction?
Artemis:
What about you? Didn’t you chase after Athena the very instant the school bell rang?
Theseus:
Someone was there to pick Athena-sama up. I could only observe them until the school gate.
I need to train more so I can chase after cars…
Artemis:
…I don’t think that’ll be possible. But the scary part is you might just do it either way.
Theseus:
So, and you?
Artemis:
I’m headed to the konbini.
I wanna scold Hermes for what he did to Apollon.
Theseus:
As expected of you… When Apollon is involved, you always act fast.
Artemis:
He can be happy I didn’t do anything all the other times.
Even if it was some kind of junk, as long as Apollon was happy, I didn’t mind.
But this time he seemed a bit sad.
Theseus:
Really…? He looked the same to me.
Artemis:
You’re as dull as ever, Theseus. His shoulders were clearly 2mm lower than usually.
Theseus:
2mm…!?
Artemis:
I hope Hermes is prepared to regret all the sadness he brought upon us brothers.
Theseus:
Then I’ll go with you. Apollon is an important friend of mine too.
And you might go berserk too.
Artemis:
No need to worry.
Hermes:
Ah, These-chan and Ar-chan! Going home from school?
Artemis:
…speaking of the devil.
Theseus:
Hermes, you gave Apollon some kinda junk again didn’t you?
Hermes:
Hee? Junk…?
Artemis:
Don’t play dumb. You surely remember that weird robot dog.
Hermes:
Ah, Faithful Dog Nanawanko?
Artemis & Theseus:
Yeah!
Artemis:
You better prepare yourself.
Hermes:
Geez, you two, calm down…!
That was a splendid product! Apo-chan was happy too, right?
Artemis:
Until he showed it to us, yes.
Theseus:
Also, how was that the latest AI? It was completely still!
Theseus:
Maybe your affection towards it wasn’t enough?
When I called it, as gently as I am, it replied without problems.
Artemis:
Hah… He’s not remorseful at all. Let’s call a policeman.
Theseus:
Calling Heracles would be faster.
Hermes:
Wha--- Wait! How did it turn into this so quickly?!
And please spare me that stubborn guy!
Ah, I know! Hey, These-chan. I’ve got something good here…
Theseus:
Th-th-th-this is…!! A picture of Athena-sama eating lunch!
Hermes:
I acquired it from a certain box, you see. I thought maaaybe These-chan would enjoy it.
Theseus:
…n-nothing we can do. Guess I’ll keep it. But be more careful next time.
Artemis:
Excuse you, don’t just let yourself get bribed.
Hermes:
My, my, Ar-chan. If there’s something you want, I don’t mind gifting it to you too.
Artemis:
…
Hermes:
What do you want? You’re a student, so, I guess bubble tea? Or donuts? This Her-chan is giving out special service right now!
Drawing bow.
Artemis, pointing a bow and arrow at Hermes:
It seems it was useless trying to talk to you.
Hermes:
E-eh! W-wait a sec?!
Ar-chan, why are you pointing your bow at me? You’re kidding right…?
Artemis:
There’s prey in front of me, what were you expecting?
Hermes:
Could you like not say that as if it was the most normal thing maybe?!
Artemis:
…
Hermes:
…a-are you for real?!
These-chan, help me…! Ar-chan’s eyes aren’t smiling…!
Theseus:
C-calm down, Artemis…!
Artemis:
Hmm, so you’re on his side, yes?
Well, doesn’t matter much if I hunt down one or two.
Theseus:
…!!!!
Hey, this is bad…! He’s counting us like prey! He’s really gonna shoot…!
Hermes:
Just because you let yourself get bribed so easily!
Theseus:
I’m sorry, that is your fault!? Do something!
Artemis:
Hey, what are you mumbling about?
You don’t think I’ll let you off the hook this easily after tricking my precious brother, do you?
Hermes:
I-I’m sorry, Ar-chan.
Artemis:
Ar-chan?
Drawing bow.
Hermes:
I-I’m sorry, Artemis.
No, Artemis-sama!! Please forgive me! I won’t do it again…!
And I’ll let Apollon know too!!
Artemis:
…I can believe those words, can I?
Hermes:
O-of course! I, Hermes, swear in the name of god…!
Artemis:
…there won’t be a next time.
Hermes:
Y-yes…! W-well then, if you’ll excuse me!
Theseus:
…hah… I thought you were gonna shoot for real, that was nerve wracking. Tagging along was the right decision.
Artemis:
There’s no way I would unnecessarily use my beloved bow and arrow.
But I hope he learned his lesson now and will reflect on what he did a bit.
And also, Theseus, don’t get led astray by a single picture. You’ll never become a god like Athena that way.
Theseus:
Ugh… you’re right. I’ll take care next time.
